In classical antiquity, great many of the Latin phrases dealt with fate. The mysterious paths of Lady Luck (Fortuna) have always fascinated people, from the Romans to modern people playing the lottery. In this work, musical situations and atmospheres change rapidly, just as luck can turn quickly. One can face either a stroke of luck or a trick of fate with tragic consequences. Because of this, one can also hear threatening tones of uncertainty in Fortuna Favoris. TR, 2009
