In August of 2006, I spent some time in the Alpine scenery of the Austrian Tyrol, observing summer turn into fall. I noticed that staying in thin air altitude affected my dreams. Sounds of cowbells in mountain pastures (Alm in German) and breath-taking landscapes of mountains, thick forests and meadows followed me into my dreams. This quartet continues my works dealing with different aspects of the dream world. Almtraum has a cyclically continuing form: A peaceful state of dream changes gradually from restless feelings to wildness and back to calm situations. TR, 2006
