'Abeyance' means temporary cessation or suspension. The word can also be understood as a state where the direction of progression or the final resolution of events remains unknown. The somewhat static beginning of the work operates with colours, creating a rather "atmospheric" feel. Later, maybe a bit surprisingly, the music transforms into a quirky clockwork. TR, 2024
